X Factor! 16 down to 12!!

Last weekend was extremely stressful for 16 people in our country. Not only did they have their first live performances on X Factor, but their judges had to decide which one of their singers had to go home.

I made a prediction after the live performances and I got 3/4, but that doesn't necessarily mean that I agree with the decisions.

The judge that I felt sorry for the most was Kelly Rowland. She has got such a strong category that whoever she chose, she was going to send home an amazing singer and unfortunately it was Amerlia Lily. Though I hope someone signs that girl because I think she is amazing!

The judge who I felt was the worst was, no surprise, Louis Walsh!! What an idiot!! After Jonjo's performance, the judges were quick to critise, saying that he was nervous and the song choice was poor All these comments seemed to make up Louis' mind on who to send home and he hadn't even seen the other performances. He made it clear that the song choice was not his idea, but Jonjo fought back by saying the one that Louis chose was less energetic than his.

I can believe that. I bet Louis had a vision of Jonjo sitting on a stool, singing. Then when the song really gets going, Jonjo would then stand up and walk towards the front of the stage, resulting in a cheer from the crowd. That kind of original thinking would of seen Jonjo performing on this weeks show!

Unfortunately we cannot change what has happened, or will that be another X Factor twist?! All I can say is, Over 25s, watch your back, because Louis doesn't have it. He is still upset over Goldie!

Simon Cowell - Lady Gaga is boring

Now the US X Factor has begun, its only right that Mr Cowell starts saying stupid stuff in order to promote the show.

This week he has stated that singers including Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Katy Perry are all boring! He was also kind enough to label Gaga as the 'most boring singer in the world' I guess she will be joining the list of boring singers. This list so far are as followed:
  • Matt Cardle
  • Leon Jackson
  • Shayne Ward
  • Steve Brookstein

Obviously Simon Cowell knows what he is on about. I mean of course its boring to turn up to award shows wearing nothing but meat! Or to turn up as your alter ego! This happens all the time, do something original for once Gaga for God sake!!!

However, being boring has helped her out! She is the most followed person on Twitter! She is also the first artist in history to have four #1 hits from a debut album!

Maybe Simon needs to think about how good he actually is at judging talent. Glee star Amber Riley was rejected by Mr Cowell and co when she auditioned for American Idol when she was 18. '...They told me no, my world crumbled. I was thinking these people are in the industry and they are telling me no. I'm not good enough to do this.' Isn't it amazing that they missed her talent and she is now in a world famous TV show!

Anyways their first episode was a huge success, and I'm sure the first series will be a hit so Simon will remain smug.

Robbie Williams turns over a new leaf!

Hey guys. It's been awhile. Sorry for my lack of posting, but my lack of posting got me a new job so it was a sacrifice I was willing to make.

So what have I missed? X Factor is as popular as ever, and now the auditions are over its now time for boot camp. But in present time, the wannabes have already been chosen and have been to the judges house; and, from what I have read, Gary's house was very interesting when the hopefuls were introduced to his guest judge Robbie Williams.

    Source Sinita

If you remember in 2009 at Simon Cowells house. His guest judge Sinita welcomed the singers covered in leaves. By covered in leaves I don't mean she had a bath in glue and rolled around in Simon's back garden. I mean she was covered in palm leaves which were strategically arranged to shield her private area.

Inspired by her choice in outfit, Robbie, who is a huge fan of X Factor greeted his guests in nothing but a palm leaf. Now this would be amazing if he introduced himself to girls who were huge fans of Robbie Williams. But Gary was given the boys category so I'm sure it wouldn't of had the same effect. Although I could be wrong...

Anyways Robbie helped whittle eight down to four... I guess it was cold when he introduced himself...

Gary Barlow to show the judges past and present how its done!

Head X Factor judge Gary Barlow (Yeah that's right Louis! Head judge!) has vowed to show the past judges, and Louis how to really mentor their acts.

Last year the judges were criticised for concentrating more on themselves rather than the acts, working hard to win the competition. Last year Cheryl Cole's acts complained to Simon about her mentoring skills. From what I saw of last year, Cheryl was more interested in becoming an average solo singer rather than actually doing her job, helping the contestants win the competition.

It was also common knowledge that Simon was keeping one eye on One Direction while the other eye was concentrating on the up coming US X Factor, what about the others?

Anyway Gary has nothing to distract him as Take That has taken a break for awhile so all his attention can be on his acts. Robbie Williams, Gary's guest judge told The Mirror 'Gary is going to be full-on as a mentor. He's going to be closer than anyone has been in the past...' Even closer than Wagner was to all the female contestants last year! '...Previously the judges maybe gave them half an hour if they were lucky.' Gary agrees by adding '...with time put into these kids, we are going to see a better quality of act because of it.'

Gary apparently didn't have a choice in choosing his guest judge as Robbie wouldn't let him leave without choosing him. He even offered his LA home for the auditions. Apparently Robbie loves reality TV. Gary told The Sun 'He watches all reality TV, including all the crap telly like Jersey Shore...' I like this man even more when I read this comment!

My main question about this is... Why hasn't Robbie Williams turned out like Ozzy Osbourne? I read this article where he talks about his 'colossal' drug taking and nights where he didn't care if he lived or died. He described how he took prescription drugs and labelled it as 'The American Addiction'! What MacDonalds?! Are all the drugs put into a happy meal! He continued by saying 'I would do 20 Vicodin in a night. It was a painkiller. Then I'd take Adderall, which was like speed for people with ADHD. I'd be doing colossal, heart-stopping amounts of that. You can buy Sativa, which is basically LSD for five minutes.' Alright Robbie don't give people tips!!!

Apparently it's all good though, he is off the drugs, so now we just have to worry about the other guest judges! Now my thought is that Kelly will ask her ex band mate Michelle Williams, which will be quite ironic as she has the same amount of vocal talent as an 90 year old chain smoker. Its the other two judges that I am more interested in. Surely I am not the only one to think that it would be pure entertainment to see Jedward guest judge with Louis in Ireland! Their feedback would be great! 'Listen okay, this, okay is our opinion okay. You need to okay, like sing using your mouth okay, and dance using your...umm...feet and legs okay' Tulisa has got to have either Fazer or Dappy right? Imagine them giving feedback. 'Ear me now! You bruv are dope up in this joint for shizzle innit!'

Whatever happens, its good to know the final four boys and the show are in good hands. Gary has been sending texts to Simon just to compare the ratings from last year, each time this year has been successful. I think the texts go something like 'Ha! Suck it bitch! I guess all those buttons you opened up on your shirts made no difference what so ever. Put your chest hair away!!!'

    The Return of X Factor!

So because we have the launch of Big Brother! It seems only right that ITV would launch something to compete against C5. So may I introduce to you, the X Factor! The build up has been going on for quite some time, and my fiance has been getting more and more excited, that I thought her head was going to explode!

So I think the first episode started really well. There were plenty of people who I hated, contestants that went through who shouldn't of, and it was filled with complete wierdos!

It started off well, all four judges arrived in style, being flown in their own individual helicopter! I do feel though that they could of saved on the carbon footprint if they shared just one though. Very Irresponsible! The new judges, if you have been in a cave for a year and don't know what is going on, are Louis Walsh, Kelly Rowland, Tulisa Contostavlos and Gary Barlow, who is the only bloke who can judge talent it seems!

Whilst I was watching it with a group of friends, all of them questioned why Louis was back as a judge. He was the one who made us suffer last year with Wagner! I even think ITV is questioning themselves, even when they introduced him in the beginnning. they reminded us that he is famous for creating the boy bands Boyzone and Westlife...Well Boyzone was created 18 years ago, and Westlife 13 years ago, so in my opinion that isn't good enough anymore! He needs to up his game!

The person who stuck out the most for me was Kitty Brucknell AKA the new Jekyll and Hyde! I actually feel guilty for labelling Katie Price 'fame-hungry' compared to this woman. She came onto the stage, quite humble and shy, and performed Lady Gaga - Edge of Glory for which I can only describe as listening to a CD, but unfortunately, that isn't a compliment. If we wanted to hear an exact rendition of the brilliance of Gaga, we would watch 'Stars In Their Eyes'. The judges quite rightly praised her singing voice but failed to remember that it is called the X Factor...She wasn't anything special, and when she got all four yes', Mrs Hyde made an appearance! She suddenly felt right at home, had a nice chinwag with the audience before being told to leave by the judges! I have a feeling we are going to have another Katie Waissel. But as they say, all publicity is good publicity, which lucky for her, I have plenty of bad publicity for her. What I cringe worthy weirdo! I think she has it in her head that she is already a star! When she sat on the stage I just wanted to throw my shoe at the telly, however I was round a friends house so I don't think she would of appreciated that, even though they are K-Swiss!

Another singer who stood out was George Gerasimou, someone who returned after two years when he was part of a group called 'Triple Trouble'. Basically a group of chavs with a terrible attitude who could not accept constructive criticism from the judges and decided to respond with verbal abuse.

Anyway, I think for entertainment, he was allowed to come back for a rematch. He spoke to the judges about how he is a changed man, how he was short tempered two years ago, but has turned his life around. This lasted for 4 minutes until during his performance Gary Barlow stopped as he had heard enough, which I think all the viewers had as well. After the music stopped he turned into the hulk. Started slagging off the judges, most memorable insult being aimed at Tulisa 'You're some scumbag trying to replace Cheryl. Some scumbag from the block.' I was surprised that he didn't pull out a Burberry cap and some Reebok classics when he started mouthing off. He was a waste of screen time! He would of had more luck during the London riots in coming away with something worthwhile, maybe an Asbo!

Unfortunately though, the judges are yet again controlled by the audience! The judges were treated to a 48 year old lady from Hong Kong called Goldie Cheung, who murdered...whatever song she sang at the beginning, and also Tina Turner's song Proud. However because the audience found it funny, this meant any criticism given from the judges was followed by boos by people who have paid to see four celebrities, who have had major success, give their opinion on whether they think the person has the X Factor. But because the judges don't like boos, other than Gary Barlow. They gave in and gave her three yes'.

What is the point in this being a singing competition if any numpty is welcome with open arms. If this continues then we will be having another load of Jedwards and Wagners in our finals wasting a place that someone with actual talent could of taken!

X Factor to be less sexy this year!

    Source Rihanna

After the paddy that Ofcom had last year about the sexy performances by both Rihanna and Christina Aguilera. The X Factor has promised to tone down its act before the 9pm watershed.

Last yeah the show recieved 5,000 complaints and they have been told by Ofcom the clean-up their act. A source told The Daily Mirror, 'Ofcom made themselves very clear about what they expect, and the message they gave us was basically to cut the smut.'

So i'm guessing this year we can expect weekly performances from Susan Boyle then.

What I want to know is what you guys and gals think. Please complete the poll found in the right hand column and let me know how the raunchyness of the show affects you.

JLS disappoint fans at T4 on the beach!

    Source JLS

JLS felt forced to pull out of a performance for T4 on the beach because of a lack of sound checking and time set to rehearse a performance created especially for the festival.

To try and stop their fans from turning on them, Marvin Humes posted on the band Facebook page 'We are SO sorry that we are not performing..it's something that was beyond our control..as a 4 piece live singing band there is no way we can do such a huge show without a sound check or camera rehearsal..we are extremely disappointed to let you all down.'

The response they got from the wall post was mainly of support, probably from people who didn't have a ticket to go, or people who just wanted to kiss their ass.

There were, however, some pretty annoyed people who responded to their post with some very relevant opinions. One woman said 'My daughter was very upset not to see you as we couldn't get tickets when you were on tour so i thought i would take her to see her first concert to t4otb'

One fan was definitely not happy, even with their apology and posted 'You should try remembering who put you guys where you are now! Obviously disappointing 50,000 people that had paid a lot of money to come and see you wasn't seen as a big deal. If you are as talented as you clearly think you all are shouldn't need a "practice run" when all you have to do is sing live, something surely all "singers" should be able to do no??'

Even I was affected by this...When I found out that they had pulled out, it reminded me that they are actually still around.

One thing I feel they should of done is followed in the footsteps of Jessie J who had to pull out on medical grounds due to a broken foot. If they cared about their fans, they should of hurt themselves I'm sure they could of found someone to help them do it. I don't live too far away from Weston I could of popped over to help...

In no way am I condoning self-harming. This is purely a joke. Unless you are Jedward...

Westlife to 'Help clear Louis' name'

    Source Westlife

Westlife singers Kian Egan and Shane Filan has backed their manager Louis Walsh and are prepared to give evidence in order to save his reputation of an alleged sexual assault.

Kian told The Mirror yesterday 'We are ready to speak to police to clear Louis' name... We are with him 100% and will fully co-operate with the inquiry, but he is innocent.' How do they know? Was he fondling them instead at the time the allegation occurred? Or do they know due to the disappointment they felt that they were not able to watch?!

Louis has not been arrested, but he was questioned for two hours at the Four Seasons Hotel. Louis told the newspaper. 'It did not happen so therefore there is no case to answer. I am extremely angry that someone is trying to tarnish my name and reputation.' Did he have a positive reputation? I thought his reputation was being an old fashioned judge who doesn't actually have an eye for talent anymore...

Louis Walsh searching for some lucky charms!

According to the Sun. A 24 year old single dad has claimed that Louis Walsh, judge on the UK version of The X Factor molested the man in a nightclub toilet.

Apparently it all happened in the Krystle Nightclub after a Westlife gig. They had met up in the Global Bar in the Russell Court Hotel, had some drinks, before making their way to the nightclub.

Maybe the bloke wanted to get to the finals of the X Factor?! I was thinking that must of been the only way that Wagner and Jedward got through. 'You can go through if you grab my lucky charms!'

According to the Daily Mail, staff at the club are well aware of who this man is and have described him as a 'celebrity chaser'. Police have decided not to charge the judge as they do not have any credence to the alleged victim. The man also changed his story a number of times, first saying that he was groped on the dancefloor, then maintaining Louis grabbed his genitals in the toilets. I was thinking if he wanted to make himself famous, why hasn't he tracked down Kerry Katona or Katie Price. Kerry has recently broken up with her fella, and Katie wants another child so what is he waiting for!

Louis has told the papers that he is fighting this accusation and is preparing to hire top lawyers to sue the Sun for printing the article. He is quoted as saying 'Anyone who knows me knows this is a pack of lies...I'm keeping my head up, and staying proud.'

Simon is said to be showing his support... I guess he has to as if Louis was sacked from X Factor, then there would be a brand new judging panel, and we wouldn't see any crap singers go through to the live finals! SIMON SACK HIM!!!

Rebecca Ferguson - Age gap is not a problem!

Rebecca Ferguson has been speaking to OK! magazine about her relationship with 17 year old Zayn Malik.

The X Factor runner up says the seven-year gap between the One Direction singer and herself is not a problem, 'Things are going well and I'm really happy...Where love's concerned, age shouldn't be an issue. You see so many couples who have big age-gaps and they're so happy, if it wasn't for the limelight, it wouldn't be an issue.'

Age gaps are not an issue, if anything its a plus. If they go to see a movie, Zayn can still get in as a child...Just can't watch 18's yet. Zayn now has someone to buy him alcohol, and when they go to supermarkets, they can park in the adult/child parking space!

When speaking to the Daily Mail, she spoke about how the teenager pursued her for months before she eventually gave in. 'He was after me for months, i was like "No, you're too young." But he really wooed me and it was a long, long struggle before anything happened.' That doesn't sound like a healthy way to get a girl. Reminds me of the film 'Notes on a Scandal'.

I'm sure the media will keep us up to date with their relationship, and for that i wish them luck. Just hope Zayn doesn't mind changing nappies, and Rebecca doesn't mind changing Zayn's nappies and hosting his sleep-overs.

Gary Barlow possibly the greatest judge ever!

Gary Barlow has been told to tone down his criticism of auditions as someone has threatened to commit suicide.

The 40 year old Take That singer has recently taken a seat as one of the latest X Factor UK judge along with Kelly Rowland, Louis Walsh and Tulisa Contostavlos. But it seems that he is even worse than Simon Cowell. 'It's like Gary's evil twin turned up to judge! He's making Simon look like Mary Poppins'
I'm glad that he has started off this way! I was worried that we would have a judging panel like Britain's Got Talent where they let anyone through to the live finals and therefore make the show an utter disappointment! The whole point in judging is to let the person know if they are good enough, and if not, why.

'When he told Pebbles she looked like a man at her Birmingham audition, you could of heard a pin drop. She was mortified and immediately complained...There has been several complaints over Gary's dressing-downs. One contestant said they felt like killing themselves after coming off stage. Gary has been asked to tone it down by contestants.'

Granted I wouldn't of pictured Gary being that kind of judge, but himself and Kelly are the only judges that I will be listening to on that show as they have something in their trophy cabinet which gives them the right to voice their opinion.

If this carries on then the ratings are going to be brilliant for Mr Cowell!

What is going on with Cheryl Cole?

The latest news in the US X Factor world is that Cheryl Cole is due to retake her seat on the judging panel next to Paula Abdul, LA Reid and Simon Cowell, which means Nicole Scherzinger (If you struggle to pronounce her surname, just say Shirt-Singer, helps me) will no doubt be sent back to co-hosting the show with Steve Jones. I feel sorry for Nicole as she seems to be thrown about quite a bit by Mr Cowell.

Reports said she was going to go on the show to say goodbye, but it now appears that she could be getting her job back.

This sounds very similar to 2007 when Louis Walsh was sacked from the UK version to make way for younger blood. He was later given his role back months after, replacing Brian Friedman, but the way it happened was extremely similar to Cheryl's situation. It makes me think that this was all planned as it has created a lot of media attention towards the two shows, although I do not have any proof of that Simon! (Don't want a lawsuit on my hands) However, if it has been planned, I wonder if Louis and Cheryl knew what was/is going on.

Anyway, according to a source who spoke to the News of the World, 'key executives at Fox realised they have made a huge mistake. They have been watching the tapes of her and the American auditions and realising that she could be a huge star over there'. Clearly the Geordie accent is not as big a problem as first thought. Or maybe they have been taking Geordie language classes. Whatever happens though it seems that Cheryl will be concentrating on becoming a respected solo artist over in America, and Will.i.am is on a mission to make that happen.

As for Simon, I think he should start a new reality TV shows like 'The Hills' or 'The Only Way is Essex' as neither of them are real and he could make some great storylines.

Thanks for reading guys and gals x

Cheryl Cole not happy about being axed!

Cheryl Cole has expressed her disappointment at being shown the door after Simon Cowell admitted 'it wasn't working'.

Cheryl is seething because Simon didn't even go to see her face to face to talk to her, although he is convinced that her warned her a few days ago that the production team were concerned about her performance on screen. I don't see how its any different to being on the UK version. All she has to do is sit behind a table with the other judges and give her opinion on singers, or people who think they can sing. The excuse that there was an accent problem is said to be rubbish as screen tests have been done and everything was fine.

Although Simon has tried to dig himself out of the hole by saying he was under so much pressure to release her. Will I Am has confirmed that Cheryl being sacked has made a huge dent in her plans to break into America, especially as he had organised duets with Rihanna and Usher. 'No-one knows who she is in the US. X Factor was supposed to have sorted that out. It really couldn't of played out any worse.'

On the plus side though it seems that a contract is waiting for her to sign to re-join the UK X Factor and take her seat alongside Gary Barlow, Louis Walsh and Kelly Rowland, which means Tulisa will have to make way....Oh well.

Cheryl's mum has made it clear to everyone that she hasn't failed, the blame is on someone else's doorstep. Its good to see that she has the support of JLS. 'She will be welcomed home with open arms, and everyone wants to see her return to the show. It would be amazing!'

There seems to be a mixed reaction to the thought of Cheryl returning to the show as some people feel that she had abandoned them. According to some pole that was taken, 62% of people would prefer her not to go back. Now i never really pay much attention to celebrity poles, mainly because the only people who do them are people who feel hard done by for some reason. People who realise that it doesn't actually affect their lives choose to get on with what they are doing and not participate in them.

I think it was understandable that Cheryl was released by the US show. If the viewers were not gelling properly with her and it was affecting the ratings, they have to do the right thing to save the show. Its a good thing that she is coming back to the UK show though. Her experience with going through these kind of competitions are vital and it will make the judging panel even stronger.

Glad to have you back Cheryl, thanks for reading guys and gals x

Gary Barlow announced as new X Factor judge

Simon Cowell has finally confirmed that the rumours are true. Gary Barlow, singer of the famous Take That has agreed to become a judge for the ITV show The X Factor to replace Mr Cowell who has committed himself to the US version with fellow judge Cheryl Cole.

Simon who arrived for filming of the new show, told reporters 'Gary Barlow is the first person confirmed'. It is thought that Danni Minogue and unfortunately Louis Walsh will be returning as judges this year with another seat available now that Cheryl has been confirmed for the US version.

This is great news for the program as I was afraid we were going to have another celeb in the industry who either hasn't had any success as a solo artist or someone whos idea of talent is as good as Katie Price's relationship history.

With a spare seat available to sit next to the 'Patience' singer, I am wondering who would be the best person to fill it. There is talk of several names being rumoured such as Lily Allen and Strictly Come Dancing judge Alesha Dixon to be potential judges.

Why don't they ask someone like Alexandra Burke to judge as she has experience in the competition and can give advice on dealing with the media attention as well as the singing.

Whatever happens I think this year will be very good now that they have Gary Barlow who has so much expertise in this business.

Let me know what you think guys x

    Cher Lloyd becomes a Diva

It appears that Cher Lloyd, known for her hip hop style performances on the UK X Factor has found her Diva side by making ludacris backstage demands.

    These include:
    • A masseuse on hand at all times
    • Sausages to be delivered by hand to her dressing room door
    • A chill out area with specific sofas, pillows and blankets
Now you can't blame her for making these demands. I mean she came forth in the X Factor final, which is one away from a medal, and also found herself in the sing off twice so she clearly she is a fan favourite. Unlike Leona Lewis who not only won the show but was never in the sing off!

Now i know she is still young and has a lot of maturing to do. I just hope it happens soon, and if not, at least find some better demands such as:
    • only spring water from the Himalayas to flush her toilet with.
    • her hotel sheets must be Egyptian cotton with a thread count of at least 250. (Jennifer Lopez)
    • bring a chimpanzee on the road with her to keep her company (Macy Gray)
    • all posters of her pop rivals be taken down - especially those of Christina Aguilera. (Mariah Carey)
Now i have had my little rant i am off for my bath. I have asked for it to be filled with goats milk whilst 2pac's California Love is being played in the background and i have my purple skittles!
    Thanks for reading
